How to best interact with EES Dr. Hansen Consulting?
- Contact us per Phone or Email. We travel a lot, but try to respond/first quote swiftly.
-
Phone: +41 56 633 73 81
- Mail: euro.emc.service@swissonline.ch
- Personal Kick-Off meeting in our company/organization (Non-Disclosure Agreement is fine)
- Firstly the project frame needs setting. Priorities, urgency, clarification of first product regulatory compliance issues, including technical issues will be discussed. This is mostly possible in one day on-site. There is a daily flat rate for this, typically including travel expenses. In international projects there is often an immediately need for more consulting time/days based on for economic/travel budget considerations. We try to adjust to that. Furthermore we prefer here to use your test equipment but do have own test instruments.
- EES-office work by email follows. This is detailed quote/estimate/terms, according to project size, specific technical details and estimated duration (plus unforeseeable effort pricing).
- Many times this requires agreement on well-defined milestones and time lines in the longer project. It is essential for your success to understand good cooperation/support/personal interaction is key important. We are not the design engineers / system integrators of you product. Our approach is consequently always starting from outside and moving to the inside details respectively. The total Apparatus/System, regardless of how big or small it will be, has to be finally compliant.
- We realize however in the seminar/onsite-training area there are sometimes longer “time constants” (month or even years) till we are called back. New products, regulations / standards or new personnel to be trained may define the time frame.
- Remember the (new) CE Rules, including EMCD and RED, however require meeting the latest standards (harmonized, if existing or NB route ) at the time the very product/equipment/apparatus/installation is made available or put into service. This has also to be considered in the process of risk assessment and maintaining quality over the product lifespan. One time product testing in the lab will not be adequate any more.
From a cost and feasibility point of view our early project involvement pays of quickly!
